Cornstarch clay (cold porcelain)

A smooth, white, air-drying modelling clay made by cooking cornstarch with white glue, oil and lemon juice.

Fixed ingredients

  • Cornstarch · 250g
  • PVA or flour paste · 250mlFlour paste for all-natural version.
  • Glycerine + oil · 1 tbsp each
  • Lemon juice · 1 tbspWhitens and sets.

  • cling film or plastic bag.

Refinements and variations

  • Replace PVA with home-made flour paste for a fully natural version
  • Add dried herb or pigment.
