Soy wax finish

A vegan counterpart to beeswax polish. Lower melting point and milder scent.

What you’ll make

Cream-coloured, soft, lightly water-resistant.

Flexible slots (flex around your material)

  • Carrier oil

    Plant oil (drying)90ml

    Oils that polymerise and harden on exposure to air. Used as finishes and binders.

    Examples Olive, linseed

Fixed ingredients

  • Soy wax · 30g

  • Double boiler
  • tin.

Refinements and variations

  • Blend with beeswax for a harder polish.
